Endoprosthesis Centre for maximum Treatment
Since 25 October 2012, OCM (Orthopädische Chirurgie München) together with Sana-Klinik München Sendling have been certified as endoprosthesis centres for maximum treatment (Endoprothetik-Zentrum (EPZ) der Maximalversorgung).
Thus, we are one of only a few endoprosthetic centres for maximum treatment in Bavaria.
Within the scope of this certification, strictly defined structural and process criteria on what an EPZ needs to fulfil in order to ensure the highest standard of quality for endoprosthetics are stipulated.
Range of Service
Only those facilities offering comprehensive diagnostics, treatment and inpatient treatment, including physiotherapeutic initial treatment, can qualify as EPZ.
The Quality and Quantity of Interventions
In order to be admitted as a surgeon at an EPZ centre a high level of endoprosthetic surgery is required and our patients benefit from the sovereignty and experience of our surgeons.
Only patients who experience a significant improvement in their quality of life from the diagnostics, via surgery and past the rehabilitation phase are satisfied patients.
Training and Continuous Education
Physicians that regularly attend training are always up-to-date and therefore able to take care of their patients using the latest knowledge.
Certification as an endoprosthesis centre for maximum treatment perfectly augments the ISO DIN-ISO 9001:2008 certification we gained in 2005 and further supports us in our daily efforts to provide maximum quality to our patients.
