Our certifications
The OCM has received numerous qualifications and awards from external institutions for its medical services. Many years of intense team work - not to mention recurrent, often strenuous recertification processes - have led to each and every one of these awards or nominations. Awards from prestigious institutions are particularly important for us because they show that we are scientifically up-to-date and employ the best possible therapies that are available at the present time.
Honored as top physicians year in, year out
Over the years, our physicians have been repeatedly honored as being amongst the “Top Physicians in Germany” for their outstanding medical services.
Certified by endoCert
Together with the Sana Klinik in Munich, OCM has been certified as a specialist endoprosthetics center (EPC) of maximum care since 2012.
Certified quality management
The quality management of the OCM clinic and the OCM practice has been successfully certified according to DIN ISO 9001 since 2005. The certificate is awarded by quality austria according to the globally recognized standard for the certification of quality management systems. Annual surveillance audits and renewal audits every three years ensure that the high quality standard is maintained over the long term.
AGA Education Center
The OCM is certified as an AGA Education Center. The AGA Society for Arthroscopy and Joint Surgery awards this certificate to centers that are particularly committed to training the next generation of physicians. A prerequisite for receiving the award is that at least two faculty members, i.e. instructors of the AGA, are active in the respective clinic.

Visiting physician center of the DKG
As an official visiting physician center of the German Knee Society (DKG), the OCM offer other knee surgeons the opportunity of attending knee operations. Certain criteria, such as a minimum number of surgical procedures, had to be met for its recognition as a visiting physicians center.

Training center of the DVSE
The OCM München is an official training center of the German, Austrian and Swiss Shoulder and Elbow Society (DVSE).

SECEC Teaching Center
The European Society for Surgery of the Shoulder and Elbow SECEC/ESSSE has certified the OCM München as an official teaching center from 2021 to 2025.
